“Buddy Scuba Diving Adventures” is a registered SDI/TDI & SSI, SSITxr training facility offering professional and personalized scuba dive training. It was formed by Deon and Rina Loubser in 2006 with the aim to promote and enjoy scuba diving.  We live up to our motto: “Training today’s divers using tomorrow’s technology.”

Safety is of utmost importance to us and for this reason we limit our student’s number to the absolute minimum in order to give personalized attention.

At Buddy Scuba Diving Adventures, we offer programs to fit the most hectic schedules. We developed SCUBA programs that are tailored to even the most demanding lifestyles.

During the classroom sessions, we will discuss the skills and equipment you need to enjoy SCUBA diving. The pool sessions are the practical “nuts and bolts” of your SCUBA program. You will learn all of the basic skills and techniques needed to be a safe and successful SCUBA diver.

Experience has taught us that the first sea dives are normally not experienced as the best ever dives by students due to the various factors such as unpredictable weather conditions, currents and surges, as well as the strange new boat rides and possible motion sickness. To obtain the maximum enjoyment of sea dives, we choose to qualify our students at one of the nearby inland dive sites.

We endeavor to do the students first sea dives with him/her as well, thus completing the full training cycle. Once qualified the sea dives should be a breeze, ensuring full diving enjoyment and the best value for your money. In the event of us going to the sea soon after completing your course, may opt to do only three of your qualifying dives at one of the inland dive sites and the remainder of the qualifying dives in the sea.

Our Fleet consists of 1x 6m wide commercial registered Buccaneer dive boat “Buddy” & a 8.3m Buccaneer boat “Deep Obsession” & a 7.2m Super Duck “Downtime” all fully equipped to conduct Shark cage, technical & general diving charters.
