RAID Shark Diving Specialty Course
The RAID Shark Diving Specialty Course focuses on the Ragged-tooth/Sand Tiger Shark (Carcharias taurus). It provides certified divers with detailed knowledge of shark biology, behavior, ecology, threats, and conservation. The program includes theoretical education through presentations, images, videos, and knowledge reviews, along with guidance on safe and responsible diving practices for encounters with these sharks.
Emphasis is placed on dispelling myths, promoting respect, and supporting marine conservation.

Theory completable online (estimated 4-6 hours); practical session typically 1 day (may include knowledge application and optional dives depending on location and shark availability).

Certification
