Our fishing charter launches from the Umkomaas river on the south coast of Kwazulu-Natal. The boat is neatly rigged with all the necessary rods, reels baits and lurks. Our team are knowledgeable and know the area as well as best fishing grounds, and what’s available to catch depending on the seasons.
A day out on the water
At first light our skipper, Malcolm is already at the waters edge scoping the surf, observing the waves timing and tide. Upon inspection and decision to launch the boats are prepped with fresh bait and all fishing charter tackle, ready to catch that big one! There will be a detailed launch brief, please pay attention to what is needed of you while the boat is launched. Safety always come first. We then choose our destinations and proceed while always being on the lookout for fishing opportunities. There are refreshments onboard as well as food requirements for the day while you enjoy catching fish at leisure.
Afterwards The Fun Stuff
Our lodge is like home from home. We have a lovely braai area and lapa to relax and have a swim is our cystal clear swimming pool.
